Introduction to Personal Data Protection Bill 2019 (PDP Bill 2019) by CIOs Of India and FDPPI
The Personal Data Protection Bill 2019 (PDP Bill 2019) was tabled in the Indian Parliament in December 2019. Currently, this Bill is under discussion with JPC and can become a reality any time soon.
Did you know that this bill proposes significant disruption in the executive structure in an organization. The DPO will be a senior designation that will supersede the CIO and CISO in the corporate structure hierarchy
The Bill covers mechanisms for protecting personal data and proposes setting up of a Data Protection Authority of India. The implications of this Bill are many folds for the Indian organizations, and as a CIO and CISO, it is evident that this will bring a lot of changes in the existing IT landscape. CIOs Of India has tied up with FDPPI for bringing awareness about these laws.
This is the introductory session by Naavi.

CIOs Of India had a curated session on this topic. An expert, Dr Sujoy Kar, Chief Medical Information Officer & Vice President at Apollo Hospitals, also shared how AI is shaping the medical landscape in the post-Covid era. -

Certification Program on Condition Based Maintenance CBM Systems-Day 3-Extended: CIOs Of India
This program was conducted on 1st November, 7th November and 8th November,2020
Organized by: CXO's of India, CIO's Of India in collaboration with NASSCOM COE
Why this course?
In the era of cyber-physical systems where man and machine are communicating to optimize the operations, it becomes critical to monitor the health of equipment, especially the high-value assets. Any failure can potentially impact the productivity and time to market. Digital solutions are enabling us to monitor the health of assets, thereby predicting the failure in advance. 24 X 7 Remote monitoring of vital plant assets is all the more relevant in current times – where operations are required to be run with minimum possible team members on the shop floor- to achieve physical distancing norms.
Exclusive Certification Program
We bring to you, for the first time ever, an exclusive curated learning program with certification for the CXO community – particularly in Manufacturing Domain, conducted by India's most prestigious institute in the domain of
Production and Maintenance – Indian Institute of Production Management, Established in 1979 in Kansbahal, Orissa.
The institute has pioneered in education and research on the topic of Condition Based Maintenance, which is imperative to ensure Plant/Process equipment's availability, reliability & safety of Operations, and lowered the cost of ownership for the plant's assets. With correct strategies for Condition monitoring, increased uptime of Plant Assets is safely achieved, thereby directly impacting the top line through increased throughput and improving bottom-line achieved through lowered costs of maintenance & operations. -
